Welcome to the Daley Family Funeral Home
Sean & Sharalyn Daley purchased the funeral home, which has been in operation
since 1966, on July 1, 2006. Sean was employed at that location for five years
previous and obtained his Ontario Funeral Director’s License during that time.
Together they have endeavored to continue the personal service the community has
grown accustomed to over the past four decades.
The funeral home is conveniently located at 6971 Bank St. (formerly Highway 31)
just north of the village of Metcalfe. This allows easy access to all local
churches and cemeteries. The facilities consist of four separate visitation
rooms, reception area, a dedicated chapel with a seating capacity of 150 people
complimented by a P.A./sound system through out the chapel and visitation rooms.
The visitation rooms are comfortably furnished and High Definition LCD
televisions are available for our families to display there favorite memories.
Also available are memory boards in which families can arrange photographs in a
collage as a tribute to their loved one. We encourage families to display those
items that they feel are appropriate. We are happy to offer suggestions and
guidance in these matters but ultimately families know best what items to
include when creating tributes that are meaningful to them, reflective of their
loved ones.
The Daley Family Funeral Home can comfortably accommodate smaller gatherings as
well as larger visitations and services in its 7500 square foot facility. There
is ample parking for as many as 40 vehicles as well as on overflow parking area
of almost three acres.
